We receive inquiries from students who want to know the best way to help Angel Hair provide more systems to youth who have lost their hair due to medical conditions or treatments. One system costs $1,500, and all funds raised by students go directly to buying the system.

Other students want to spearhead a fundraiser in their class or for their whole school. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
• Gather some friends to help you plan and promote the fundraiser.
• Make sure your activity is OK with your school. Check with your teacher, counselor or principal before starting.
• Come up with a theme. We have some that might work for you:
  - Hats for Cancer: If your school is one that doesn’t allow students to wear hats in class, you could have students pay to wear a hat to school for the day.
  - Search for Lose Change: Classrooms could compete against each other to find the most lose change.
• Use a theme that works for your school.
• Let us know what you’re planning. Here’s how you can contact us. We’ll put your event on our website and send out a release to media in your area. Customize a poster to promote your fundraiser. We’ve provided a few editable PDFs that you can use.
• Start talking it up – in announcements, assemblies, with leadership and teachers, and on your own Facebook page.
• Celebrate how much you collect. Send us your donation, and we’ll include your school on our Honor Roll of students helping each other.
